Anthro-Arts Workshops
GLEAN hosts anthro-arts workshops for interested schools, organizations, events and families! Through participation in photography, global music, drawing, interviewing, environmental arts, diverse cultural ceremonies and traditions, dance, storytelling, painting, collage and/or nature, young people from all walks of life learn about global cultures and issues in the Bay Area. They also discover more about themselves as individuals and start to manifest positive, peaceful and abundant lives and communities.

Herbal Medicine Classes for Teens with Jenny Swiecicki

Drawing Community with Emily Prince

Inspire self-reflection and exploration of the your own identity by getting to know local people, places, and objects in an eclectic mix of city streets.
Street Poetry with Lea Aschkenas and Albert Flynn DeSilver
Expand your identity as writer and citizen of the global culture by discussing writings of traditional and modern American, Latino, and Chicano poets.
